Mrs. Yolandi Venter

ABP Chairperson

Key ABP Responsibility: Strategy

Managing Director of B4i Consult, an Executive at the B4i Group and at the helm of various Empowerment Initiatives including the bastions of social welfare, the B Loved Foundation and B4i Socio-Economic Development NPC.

A background in law, philanthropist, and advocate for the destitute, Yolandi has more than 13 years of experience in the B-BBEE arena, attesting to seasoned knowledge of both B-BBEE Audit and Consulting Services.

Yolandi’s calling to empower is evinced by a stellar career track record, she is a current member of the ABP Technical committee, a B-BBEE Presenter and the co-developer and facilitator of South Africa’s first B-BBEE internship accredited in association with the University of Stellenbosch Business School. Through her compassion and divine Calling, Yolandi plays an active, participatory role in the transformation and upliftment of the indigent in both, the boardroom and at ground level.

Mr. Stanley Grau

ABP Deputy Chairperson

Stanley obtained his BCOM in Chartered Marketing from the North West University, Potchefstroom Campus in 2010. In 2012 I obtained my Management and Development Programme (MDP) in Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment from UNISA.

I entered the BEE verification industry in 2010 as a Verification Analyst. Since 2013 I have been the Managing Director of MSCT BEE Services which was initially part of the Moore Stephens Group between 2013 and 2018. In 2018 MSCT BEE Services became independent from the Moore Stephens Group and is now known as MSCT BEE Services (Making Significant Changes Together).

I am still in the position of Managing Director. I have been a member of the Technical Committee at ABP from 2021 to date and if elected to the ABP board, the value that I am able to bring is my technical interpretation and application of the BEE Legislation. As a Managing Director of my own business, I am able to understand the implications of the BEE legislation on the operations of a business. Questions raised to ABP should be understood in what context the question is raised, this is in the form of assisting BEE Verifications Agencies, BEE Professionals (Consultants) and the needs of companies in general to assist in the consistent application of the legislation by meeting section 3 and section 2 of the BEE Act.

Stanley Grau is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in the business services industry. As the Managing Director of MSCT BEE Services, a SANAS-accredited B-BBEE Rating Agency which specialises in verification procedures to obtain a SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate. He is also responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic direction, operations, and overall performance. With a strong background in Business Management as well as legal and compliance with the B-BBEE Act, he has been instrumental in driving growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering innovation, not only within MSCT, but to the industry as well, this is reflected in his achievements to date.

Stanley was elected in 2022 to be a board member of the Association of B-BBEE Professionals (ABP) and Director of the Technical portfolio 2022 – 2024. In 2024 he was re-elected as a board member of ABP and as the Deputy Chairperson to ABP with the focus on stakeholder engagements and technical application of the B-BBEE act to ensure consistent application with the objective of the act. In 2023 and 2024, Topco Media identified MSCT as one of the Top 5 in the B-BBEE verification industry and being part of the Top 500 managed companies in South Africa. Stanley was also nominated and became a finalist in the CEO of the Year category at the inaugural Africa Career Summit Awards in 2024. He has also been nominated for the Entrepreneur of the Year award at the 2024 Top Empowerment Awards, along with MSCT BEE Services being nominated for the Fast Growth SMME award. He was also identified to be part of the 2024 Topco advisory board for the event along with being identified as a Moderator for the 2024 Nedbank Top Empowerment Conference.

Stanley has also been featured in the Top 500 Magazine, South African Business Integrator publication and TFM as well as working with the JSE Quarterly and BEE Engaged.

Mr. Mashudu Mannde

Key ABP Responsibility: Transformation, Governance, Regulation, Ethics

Founder/Managing Director of Zwonaka MLM Holding, we provide advisory services (BBBEE, Diversity, Ownership Solution and Business Development).

Mashudu is an analytical professional with significant experience across multiple domains including, BBBEE/Transformation, Equity Solutions, ESD and Fund Management, with 15 years of experience in various roles within the B-BBEE/Transformation fraternity both in the private and public sector. I have worked for [a] B-BBEE Verification Agencies as a Senior B-BBEE Analyst, [b] the dtic where I previously participated in the drafting of B-BBEE amended Act, Codes, PPPFA Regulations, and participated in the EEIP approval committee, contributed in the entire process of drafting the BBBEE legislation till the Gazette for implementation. Furthermore I provided technical assistance to B-BBEE Verification Agencies, Chaired the B-BBEE Joint Technical Committee (B-BBEE JTC), Chaired the B-BBEE MDP Committee. Mrs. Pansy Morapedi

Mrs. Andrea Swart (Pretorius)

Key ABP Responsibility: Industry training

Andrea has more than 10 years’ experience in B-BBEE, Transformation and Verification.

She specialises in transformation strategies, scorecard computation, gap analysis reports, B-BBEE advisory, Verification Software management and compliance plans across various sectors such as the Financial, Agricultural, NGO, Property, FMCG, Mining and Construction sectors, to name a few.

Andrea also specialises in bespoke transformation research and advisory, which incorporates the sustainability and B-BBEE lens, to provide insights to clients on how to improve their scores based on industry wide data.

With a strong background as a Legal Advisor and a Post Graduate Bachelor of Laws – LLB, Law Degree from the University of South Africa, Andrea has also coordinated and presented Legal Sector Code Workshops over the years, to key industry executives and CEOs.

With a keen interested and strong passion for transformation, she furthered her studies and obtained a B-BBEE MDP, Transformation qualification from Wits Business School.

Mitishka Ramdhani is an executive director and shareholder of Mpowered Business Solutions. Starting her career in the B-BBEE verification space in 2009, she is able to draw on her 15+ years of experience in transformation.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, and exposure to the B-BBEE verification, B-BBEE advisory and B-BBEE compliance software realm, Mitishka combines her deep technical insight with a passion for people, and creative problem solving.

Before joining Mpowered, Mitishka was a Senior Verification Analyst and Moderator at Emex and a Technical Signatory at NERA. She also mentored younger verification analysts. Mitishka has completed the B-BBEE Management Development Program through UNISA in 2014.

Over her tenure, she has built relationships with some of South Africa’s largest corporates and enjoys identifying strategies and policies that speak to both B-BBEE compliance and the achievement of business objectives. Her beliefs rest with moving forward through transformation to build a better professional and social environment.

Mr. Neo Molefe

ABP Board Member and Finance Director

Neo is an Executive Director at Transcend Corporate Advisors, and a senior transformation facilitator in the company’s advisory division. Neo has a decade experience in BEE advisory. He is a specialist in conducting BEE analyses, identifying transformation opportunities, BEE project management, as well as formulating and implementing sustainable transformation strategies.

Neo has supported a number of medium and large companies in Johannesburg and Cape Town, as well as a number of multinationals, in their transformation initiatives. Neo is a specialist on the Generic Codes, as well as the various sector charters such as the Revised FSC and Agri-BEE charters. Prior to joining Transcend, he was previously an attorney in legal practice. Neo also sits on a number of boards, including Thermo Fisher Scientific South Africa.

Mr. Ryan Clark

Since 2014, I have been with MSCT BEE Services (Pty) Ltd, a SANAS accredited B-BBEE Rating Agency, where I currently serve as an Executive Director, Technical Signatory and Nominated Representative.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Pretoria and an MDP (B-BBEE) from the University of the Witwatersrand (2013).

My expertise lies in risk management and the development and management of compliance and systems related matters within the B-BBEE, GHG Emissions, and sustainability industries. With 13 years of experience in the B-BBEE Verification Industry, I have gathered extensive knowledge and insight under both the IRBA and SANAS regulatory frameworks.

At MSCT BEE Services, I am committed to upholding regulatory standards and promoting sustainable practices. My work is driven by a passion for advancing B-BBEE principles and ensuring excellence in compliance and system management.
